Everyone saw it coming, saw something coming. I think even the world tried resisting our imminent fate by trying to distract us. Sevre natural disasters happened more and more frequently. Our response was one of environmental harmony, and yet humanity was still the sole resposnible source for death and destruction around the globe. We kill, or even worse stand by and do nothing as others kill. All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. That is all that happened, we did nothing. We ignored what was coming and while people say no-one could of expected what transpired, if we had done something it would of been nothing more than an amazing new story for the history books.

It started with Private Moore. Private Edward Abraham Moore. He was on his first deployment to Afghanistan with the US Armed Forces. He disappeared. He reappeared and became patient zero.

For those curious about the name, I am not talking about the Green vs Briggs fight that has Australian Boxing in turmoil. Nor am I talking about the Gillard vs Abbot fight that is brewing. The programming, nerd gloves are coming off and I'm getting back into some fairly involved interface programming.

So without further ado... Drumroll please!

So at work all I have access to is notepad and internet explorer (no internet might I add). So I frequently give myself programming challenges of creating, testing and playing little bits and pieces with all I have available. My latest trial has been a tower defense game using no imgaes, just using javascript and html. The catch being is that to give a bit of graphical representation to it I just used Wingdings or Webdings fonts to have an icon system. I have learnt that firefox doesnt like this. There are actually a few CSS things that might not work outside of IE6... i know its a huge step backwards but due to work limitations I never programmed multiple options into the CSS and javascript, besides which as far as I know the dings fonts arent available in firefox so would have to put in image compatability.

So I was thinking about marketing after watching the Gruen Transfer this evening. I was approaching some marketing concepts from a website point of view and after a breif surf and some conceptual development I came up with an interesting concept.

I was wondering if approaching click to pay advertising could be more successful if you don't mould the advertisement to fit site, but use the site's navigation to alter on advertisement. This obviously is a risky move but my reasoning is as such.

So I noticed a pattern on a bit of lino covering on a bench. To me straight off the bat I saw a mysterious man lurking in his own smoke. To me it was incredibly clear as soon as I saw it but I wondered if it's one of those situations where I am the only one to see it. Thanks to the trusty iPhone camera (it can sometimes be handy!) I just captured it and thought I would share it.

So now I went about better defining the mysterious smoking stranger lurking in the smoke. I didn't want people to think I was crazy right?

So at work I only have access to DOS, Ms Paint and notepad. So I get really really bored and often do what I can with what I have available. As you can see I am not great with tthese tools, but its a lot of fun doodling.
